Say Yes to Education Effort in Guilford County Gets $5M Boost from Phillips Foundation

GREENSBORO, N.C. (February 23, 2015) — Community efforts to raise $28 million for Guilford County’s bid to become the next “Say Yes to Education” community received a sizable boost Monday, with the Phillips Foundation committing $5 million.
Say Yes to Education is a national nonprofit that partners with communities with the goal of graduating all students from high school and then providing funding for college tuition.
