Healthy Relationships Initiative (HRI) takes the best practices in relationship science from the clinic to the culture, working to infuse communities with the information, resources and services parents and families need to maintain healthy relationships and provide supportive environments for children. The Foundation developed and launched this replicable model with UNC Greensboro’s top-ranked Department of Counseling and Education Development in 2016 and partners with agencies across Guilford County, such as the Family Justice Center and Sesame Street in Communities to prevent the negative consequences of relationship distress including abuse and neglect. Through HRI’s interactive e-learning center, anyone may access free online modules designed for couples, single parents and family service providers.
