Phillips Foundation Donates $3.5 Million to GPAC

GREENSBORO, N.C. (May 20, 2013) — As part of its initial grant cycle, The Phillips Foundation has pledged $3.5 million toward the proposed downtown Greensboro performing arts center, foundation executive Elizabeth Phillips announced Monday.

The Phillips Foundation is a Greensboro-based endowment created from the estate of commercial and residential real estate developer Kermit G. Phillips, who died in 2008.
