Downtown Greenway Selects Design Firm Kimley-Horn and Associates Inc. for Next Phase

GREENSBORO, N.C. (May 21, 2015) — A Raleigh/Cary-based design firm has been selected for the next phase of the Downtown Greenway — a project that also received a $1.5 million grant today.
Officials with the economic development project, a collaboration between the City of Greensboro and Action Greensboro, chose Kimley-Horn and Associates Inc. to lead the next stage of the effort, according to a news release. A grant from the Phillips Foundation, also announced today, includes naming rights for the section of the greenway being planned by Kimley-Horn.
